Stable Internet connectivity is required for effective operation of the Trade Portal. Is it recommended that trades have a high-speed Internet connection in order to quickly view purchase orders, scheduling and payment data because these documents take longer to load with a dial-up connection.
It is required that Internet Explorer version 6.0 or higher is installed on each workstation.
To locate the Internet Explorer version on the workstation:
Launch
Internet Explorer.

In the Help menu, choose About Internet Explorer.
The dialog below appears,
and the version number displays in the top Version:
line. In this example, the workstation is running version 6.0.2x,
which meets the browser requirements.

Upgrading to a newer version of Internet Explorer involves a few simple steps that are available from Microsoft’s Downloads web site.
To upgrade to a newer version
of Internet Explorer:
Access Microsoft® Corporation’s Downloads page at:
http://www.microsoft/downloads.
Follow the on-screen instructions to upgrade to the most recent version.
The Trade Portal also supports the Firefox web browser.
