The Trade Portal follows recommended best practices for Internet security:
If trade users forget passwords, the Trade Portal administrator will not be able to look up and e-mail passwords directly to the user.
Once users complete the password reset process outlined in this help topic, an e-mail containing a randomly-generated password will be sent directly to the user.
After the user receives this e-mail, the user may change the user name and/or password upon the next login.
The Forgot Password? link located in the Contacts tab allows the user to reset and generate a new password.

The Change Password tab in the Settings screen also allows the user to reset user names and passwords.

To reset a password:
In the Contacts tab, click the Forgot Your Password? link at the bottom.
The confirmation
dialog appears:

To proceed with resetting
the password, click OK, and proceed
to the next step.
Or, click Cancel to quit the cancellation process, and the password will not reset.
The user who requested the password change will receive an e-mail with a randomly-generated password. At the next log-in to the Trade Portal, this user can establish a new password.
